POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

Sini Nagpal is from the Punjab region of India. An MS-Bioinformatics to PhD transfer, she has become interested in statistical genetics to assess human disease risk and its evolution with environmental and lifestyle change. As a member of the NIDDK IBD-Genetics Consortium, she has also worked on TWAS and predicted-transcriptional risk scores to predict disease progression in IBD.

PHD GRADUATE STUDENTS

Hira Anis is a Fulbright Scholar from Pakistan, is a PhD student in Bioinformatics at Georgia Tech, where she also completed her MS in Bioinformatics. Collaborating with Dr. Eun-Hyung Lee at Emory University, her research focuses on plasma cell maturation using single-cell RNA and ATAC sequencing. She plans to incorporate AI and machine learning into genomic analysis, with interests in personalized medicine, cancer genomics, and autoimmune diseases.
